U.S. Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) augmented by nearly 60 personnel from 17 NATO and European partner nations participated in Exercise Trident Juncture 2015. Airmen from the 352 Special Operations Wing worked day and night, alongside international partners, to support the effort as part of the Special Operations Air Component - Joint Air Coordination Element (JACE) in Stuttgart, Germany.

Collocated with the SOCC, The JACE is a robust liaison element enabling synergistic mission planning and fills the role of the J3 Air in the SOCC's current operations section. The JACE provides real time support to the SOCC in the areas of aerial surveillance/reconnaissance, Aviation threat analysis, electronic warfare, mobility, airspace, weather and fires.
